Get this one right
A 50-inch television is not 50 inches wide
Screen sizes are measured corner to corner, so a 50-inch set is around 111cm across — but the feet or the stand can sit wider still, and that is the measurement that has to land on the top. Measure the outside edges of your television's feet, then check that against the usable top width in the description. If your set is wall-mounted, ignore all of it and just check the unit sits below the bracket.

Setting up
Build it where it will stand. Run the cables through the back gap before you push it against the wall.
Free delivery to most of mainland UK. Some Scottish highland, island and Northern Ireland postcodes carry a surcharge, shown at checkout before you pay.
Before you order
Anything else?
Measure your television's feet, not its screen. It is the mistake almost everyone makes.
Will my television fit on it?
Measure the outside edges of your set's feet, not the screen size. Televisions are sized on the diagonal, so a 50-inch screen is roughly 111cm wide and its stand may be wider again. Compare that against the usable top width in the description — and check the maximum load while you are there.
How much weight will the top take?
The maximum load is in the description. It comfortably takes a modern flat screen, a soundbar and a console. Do not sit or stand on it.
Where do the cables go?
There is a routing gap at the back. Feed the cables through before you push the unit against the wall — doing it afterwards means pulling everything out again.
Should I fix it to the wall?
If you have small children, or the unit is tall with drawers, yes. Use a strap or bracket rated above the loaded weight and screw into a stud where you can.
How long does assembly take?
Around forty-five minutes to an hour. Lay the panels out and count them against the list before you start, and build it in the spot where it will live.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, flat-packed as it arrived.
