Every ComfortCrest bed is built to standard UK sizes, so your existing mattress and bedding will fit. Here are the numbers, and the room each size really needs.
Most beds that get sent back were the wrong size, not the wrong bed. Two minutes with a tape measure now saves a fortnight of waiting for the right one.
Every ComfortCrest bed is built to standard UK sizes, so a UK Double mattress fits a UK Double frame and the bedding you already own still works. The table below gives each size in both metric and imperial, along with the room it realistically needs.

Getting the size right
The measurements above answer most of it. These cover the rest.
What is the difference between a King and a Super King?
30cm of width. A King is 150cm across, a Super King 180cm. Both are 200cm long. If you share a bed with a restless sleeper, that 30cm is the single best upgrade you can buy.
Are UK sizes the same as European or American ones?
No, and the difference is enough to matter. A UK King is 150 × 200cm; a European King is 160 × 200cm and a US King is 193 × 203cm. Bedding bought abroad will not fit a UK bed properly. Measure your mattress before ordering a frame.
How much room do I need around the bed?
Allow 70cm on the side you get in and out of, and 50cm on any other free side. For an ottoman bed, also leave room for the base to swing up — check the ceiling height if the bed sits under a slope.
Will it get up my stairs?
Almost always, because the frame arrives in sections rather than built. The tight spots are narrow landings and turns at the top of a staircase. Measure the narrowest point and tell us — we will confirm before your bed is made.
